Certificate in BEV Powertrain and Thermal Management Service Programme equips trainees with the skills and knowledge necessary to diagnose, service, and maintain Battery Electric Vehicles (BEVs) safely and effectively. Trainees will acquire comprehensive knowledge of BEV systems, including battery packs, electric motors, power electronics, and control systems. In addition, they will learn to diagnose faults using specialized tools and equipment, with a strong emphasis on safety. A key component of the programme is teaching proper handling procedures for high-voltage BEV components to mitigate electrical hazards and ensure a safe work environment.
Upon completion of this programme, the trainees will be able:
- Prepare and Manage Safe BEV Servicing
- Perform BEV Thermal Management System Maintenance
- Conduct High-Voltage BEV System Replacements
- Perform BEV Drivetrain Maintenance
- Lead and Develop BEV Technicians
- Completed the Certificate in Battery Electric Vehicle (BEV) Maintenance & Battery Management System (BMS) Diagnostics programme, or Certified BEV Technician (SKM Level 3) or equivalent, or Working experience of at least 3 years in Automotive Industry
- All candidates must be physically and mentally fit and do not have any visual (blind/colour blind), hearing or physical disabilities.
